DESCRIPTION:The Global Institute for Food Security (GIFS) commissioned studies to examine the carbon footprint of agricultural production in Saskatchewan and Canada and has compared those results to similar countries across the world.In this session, GIFS’ CEO Dr. Steve Webb, will provide an overview of the study’s results, design and analysis, as well as the role of innovation and the adoption of sustainable farming practices and regenerative agriculture - scaled to regions - in achieving the sustainable production of safe and nutritious food.
